For those that have tried to mill down coins to bend them. Check this out.

It will be best if you use a metal lathe to make one. But this can be made using a drill press and making the pot chuck out of wood. A wood version will just not last very long.

For milling the coin, I first used rough grit sand paper and then finer grits. Make a sanding disc to mount in the tail stock so it will be "true" to the coin.
