Saw the thread about the Drill Doctor. Brought up another thought. I have a set of bits in a case from Woodcraft. Some are regular point and some are brad point. My Rikon grinder had a platform for grinding bits but how do you sharpen the brad bit points? BTW, I have a set of DMT diamond files.

Have access to someone with tool and die grinding gear and skill?

Or you can convert then to conventional bits. (I reshape on cbn wheel and go to drill doctor)

You a can try to refresh edges with hones, but keep your expectations low, as it is not easy.

I convert them like KenV does. In my case, I simply grind off the the tip and use the DD to do the profile.
