Scroll saw thoughts

I'm interested in getting a scroll saw but trying to stay around the $150 range. I've looked online at bg box stores and Amazon. The dewalt looks to be a nice one but is a little steep in price for me at this moment. I saw the wen model(WEN 3920 16-inch Variable Speed Scroll Saw With Flexible LED Light https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005UKGL58/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wMWExbFYE5WEE) and it looks to have got decent reviews. I have been looking online for used ones but have not had any luck in my area. I will check out local pawnshops this week. Anyone have any experience with this wen model? I'd like to get this as a beginner scroll saw and possibly upgrade to the dewalt down the road. any thoughts or opinions are welcomed. Thanks!

Haha I actually read that thread. Didn't know since it was a couple years old, if things had changed.

Pin end blades are very limited in being able saw even moderately complex patterns. The blade just won't pilot through a small hole. You really are better off saving money to buy a higher quality saw. The DeWalt is a very good entry level saw.
