Rosewood Boxes

I just went to get a Rosewood Box (from BB) off the shelf for an order and I'll be darned if my last one has a small scratch on the lid. Can someone please look at a Rosewood box and tell me what stain color you think it might be?

Ron, thanks i thought that was right,but was'nt sure if your name was McKinney or you lived in the city with the same name or maybe both.

Ron, Is it the large Box with a custom insert or is it the smaller box. If it is the larger box, he has two different colors that are close. One is a rosewood and the other is a mahogany. Can you use some Old English Dark on it?

It is the large Rosewood box. I'll try some old English dark on it and see what happens. Luckily a pen turning friend of mine had some to spare so I got some from him so that I could ship the order today.[]
