Rivnuts?

I saw these on epay and was wondering if they are any good or just a gimmick?
I would be hand where you cant get to the other side.

I hav used rivnuts on occasion & they can be a pain to work with but they do serve a useful purpose! I noticed from the link info that this particular item does not post to the US..

Harbor Freight sells a tool with with some nuts. Oddly they don't sell the nuts anymore.

I have one but haven't found a use for it yet.

Useful on thin material such as sheet metal.

The Northern Tool store near me carries them. Never used them but I can see where they may come in handy.

My company sells rivnuts. Stafast Products. Most customers use them in metal tubing. Main issue when customers say they don't work is when they don't have the correct but for their grip range.
