When turning finials and small items, many times I will just use a tool without a handle. I glanced over and saw this screw driver and thought....I wonder if......... ...Well, it did fit with the help of some blue tape. Now, this long 3/8" spindle gouge has an easy grip handle. Just right for those finials!
I can also use a 3/8" shaft detail gouge, skew, bedan or point tool easily without a heavy longer handle as long as I am taking light cuts.

Now that's interesting. I take those screwdrivers, knock the mechanism out of the handle and turn custom handles and put the mechanism into my new handle for a custom handle screwdriver.
