Psi pen blank chucks

I am on my 3rd set of the smaller (1") pen blank chuck from psi in the last 5 years due to the jaws becoming loose as I've heard happens to others.
Before I buy a 4th , I'd like to know if the larger set (2.5") also has the same issues. They have worked well for me but after a few hundred drillings they just start getting loose. I maintain them as suggested by a video
I saw on woodnwhimsies website. I have no other chuck right now. Thanks for your help

I got my large sized one for Christmas last year, done 100 or so pens with it and it still closes right up tight. YMMV.
