It seems like we have an organizing thread every now and again.

I have my kits and my bushings and my blanks fairly well organized ( for now), but....

I'm JUST starting to do casting but have a feeling that all the stuff associated is going to mount up.

Anybody have a good setup for their stuff to show off?

Dan, I bought 12 bead jars in a carrying case for my sample to 1oz sizes of mica powders from tkbtrading.com. The large jars from coastalscents and Pearl-Ex jars are put into some square scrapbooking storage boxes. My dyes are stored in a small quart bucket. My scale and PVC tubes are in a couple plastic storage containers about the size of a 9x13 cake pan. My corks and caps for my PVC pipes are in a couple bins. And, a notebook nearby to write down notes. All is stored in a small bookcase by where I cast.

My powders, colorants, cups, stirrers, molds and embedables all live in a cheapo two-piece rolling tool chest. Resins are kept on a shelf under the workbench that I use for casting.

I separate my mica powders into 5 plastic shoe boxes. Each color is in a coastal Scents container. I have more colors than will fit in those 5 boxes, but they are the ones I use most. I have all my dyes in a large flat rate box. The dyes stay inside till I use them. When I'm done I bring them back inside. My molds are on a shelf in my garage. My pressure pot is on another shelf above the molds.

Maybe I'll clean it up this weekend and take a picture. That would explain it better.

I store all my casting stuff except my resin in one of these.
