Does anyone have any info on the Axminister offset chuck attachment? I purchased one and the instructions that came with it, make little sense.
I called the supplier and asked them. They had no suggestions.
Thanks for any help.

Hey... I have one of those...never used it but it came with a DVD.

I'll send it ( the DVD ) to you if you want. FOC of course

Edit In; Is it the same as the one in the pic?

Amazingly...it came with two CDs, so if it's the right one and if you want it, PM me your address:biggrin:

Check you tube, a lot of those instructional videos get posted in entirety there, either by a user or by the manufacturer as a selling point. I've watched a couple there while contemplating various purchases. If not, user's will often post a how to use video anyways.

That YouTube vid looks very similar.

I posted your CD this morning anyway, so at least you will have a copy for file.

Bill Bowers has a book on Spiral turning and it shows spiral colored wood inlays in the center of plates using the axminister chuck. Not a training tutorial, but enough to show possibilities.

Bill is a retired doc in anchorage alaska.
