I just ordered another lathe and Rick Herrell said he doesn't have the specs to make me new tool rests
Does anyone know the tool rest specs for the Nova 46 300?

I believe that lathe is more commonly known as the Comet II

You might check with Rick to see if he has the specs under that name rather than the SKU number.

If not, I suggest that you wait until you receive it & measure the stock to rest to be sure you get the exact dimensions that he needs.

I think Rick might want the post length also which is not given in the spec sheet.

Just as an FYI read my post about this lathe tripping my GFI. Let me know if you have the same issue if you try and run this off a GFI outlet.
