I saw a rolling tool caddy a while back and thought to myself, I could make one better and less attractive! I feel like accomplished both items haha.
Went to my dads barn, he's a tinkerer and saver so I built this for $0.00. It's a little taller then I initially planned but wanted plenty of room. I made it where I can shorten it fairly easily but think I like it as is. The rolling base is off an old metal office chair, heavy was the key. The pipe threaded right into a piece of plastic (delrin I think) in the wheel base.
One other point is it is very modular, almost everything can be removed/rearranged with a few screws. Wanted it to be flexible with plenty of space. I may add a little bracing but that's about it.
Hope you like it, thanks to all who have posted organization ideas that I copied and incorporated here!
