My new Carbide tool

So I have been wanting a square, actually radiussed corner square tool to try for a while, but did not want to spend the money on one. I read several comments about where to buy carbide and I did from Global as per recommendations. I then bought a prybar from Harbor Freight as Sharon did and modified it to hold the carbide. So far I think it is great! and I only have about $12 in it.

That's pretty neat Mitch. What (if anything) keeps the cutter square to the handle?

Try to countersink the bar and the screw will be flat against the carbide and give it more support

I ground a flat the size of the carbide on the end after I tapped the hole. I am able to tighten it tight as it is a torx screw. So far I have not had any issues with the carbide turning.

I have used it.. and it works AWESOME. Better than the Rockler round (the cheapest one they had to be fair) that I have. So glad I followed threads on this forum on making it.
