Very similar to the one I made. I made a strip of wood as a guide for squaring the piece to the sander. I drilled the holes oversize to shift it while squaring it with a Groz precision square. I first used a faceplate from an old HF lathe that I had. Couldn't figure out why the wood was uneven. I hand turned the FP and found it was about 1/4 inch off. Got a new FP at Woodcraft and that solved the problem. Thanks for sharing. Good to have DIY things in the shop!
