I have always been bad about sharpening my mills. Mostly because I never looked at doing it. I saw someplace someone asking about sharpening them, and someone else shared a video.

So I watched the video, and they used cards that you can get off Amazon for 12 bucks a piece or so. I started looking around for the diamond plated ones and found something at Tractor Supply. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/accusharp-diamond-pocket-stone?cm_vc=-10005

That is what I found. I ran the rough (320 grit) over 25 times on each tooth, then the (800 grit) 25 times.

After that, I squared 1 wood Sierra, and it was like butter. 2 Polyresin blanks, and 7 Rhyno Plastic blanks. I honestly am not sure if the Mill cut as well as it did when it was new.

I use the DMT diamond files- set of three is about $30 at Woodcraft. I use them to sharpen tools, mills, knives. They won't sharpen my mind which is frustrating.
