I have one that is simular.

What you have to watch out for with this type of center is not to apply to much pressure or you will split the wood. DAMHIKT. What I do to avoid this is to place a washer on the live center tip so it can only go in so far into the wood.

The only problem I noticed with the Grizzly live center is that the tip really wore down from contact with the mandrel. I got a similar live center from PSI and like it much better.

I got the PSI version as well, but I saved myself a few $$ by ordering it from Woodturningz when they had them on sale. Their regular price is still cheaper than PSI.
