Picked these up for five or six bucks each a few weeks ago at HF.
I love the light from both sides and the magnets hold pretty good. You can see my old light clamped to the edge of the bench, used to clamp it to the tailstock.

And yes, my shop is usually that cluttered. ;)

FYI, the price I mentioned was a coupon price. I'm not exactly sure how much they are at regular price, but I know it's a lot cheaper than the $50 version from CSU that I was considering. I realize, not the same unit/quality, but for me, they sure do the job. [:)]

If the lamps ever go bad on you, don't throw them out! just switch out the guts w/ guts from an old lamp that you've had lying around, just might need some minor drilling to get everything to fit. I've just done this and it saved me some money for more kits!

Bill, Nice HF score! I often go to the HF in SLC on lunch hour with a friend who also likes to find a deal. I missed out on the lights however. Merry Christmas.
