Laguna Bandsaw Blade Question

Hey All

Just took delivery of my new 220v Laguna BX14 Bandsaw. (Already have a Laguna 18/36 Lathe and a B-Flux Dust Collector and I'm rapidly becoming a Laguna super-fan.)

My local dealer gave me 2 Laguna Shearforce blades as a freebie, but I keep hearing great things about the Resaw King blades.

Given the high price of Resaw King blades, are they really worth it? (Up here in Canada, the 115" blade I need runs almost $250.)

If they do give a marginal performance increase, I would gladly splurge on one. Anyone have any experiences or thoughts?

Envious of the Bandsaw. That would be my choice in bandsaws and would love to own one. I do not know about that blade but I do use Lennox carbide blades for resawing and would not be without. I assume that is about the same type blade and no they are not cheap but well worth the money. last a long time and can be resharpened. You can even touch them up with a diamond card. Good luck with your toys.
