Put this together for a demo on building up a CA finish in lieu of casting. Speed is adjustable from about 1 rpm to 100 with an inexpensive PWM. Typically run about 5-10 rpm while drizzling on medium CA until diameter is above target, then sand to final dimensions and polish. Takes about 5-10 drizzle sessions for a Sierra with abalone or snakeskin. Although not a production method, takes some of the casting issues off the table.
