Just a small modification to my lathe dust collection.

That's really cool !!!! . You should be in the movie industry ... or maybe you are !!

Two questions to help me make my own.

1) . Where did you get the articulated arm ? (dial gauge holder, perhaps ? )

2) . Did you make the yellow piece in its entirety or where did you buy ?

I modeled and 3D printed the yellow piece to fit the Hose connector. The hose used is from a central vac system. Just made it easier to attach the hose to the arm.

Instead of an articulated arm I used a cell phone holder like this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cell-Phone...var=551711855555&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Nothing to loosen or tighten when you want to move the dust collection hood. It is a tough one, it won't vibrate or move on it's own, in fact some times it is too stiff to move without 2 hands.
