I've had this tool for years and it's my go-to for the combination of drilling, countersinking and driving the screw. It's called the Jack Rabbit. Nothing I've ever tried is as quick and easy. I've managed to hold on to it all this time (unlike a lot of my tools), but I figured it's time to get a spare.

My bad, I didn't test the link (I almost always do...)

I've just used the straight bit version that comes in the single piece sets. That way, I can easily replace the 7/64" drill bit it uses (3/8" version.)

90% of what I've used it for is sheet rock screws. If I were using a lot of wood screws in hardwood, I'd probably go for the tapered bit.
