my tool rest broke on the weekend. just when i was gonna start turning since before christmas. dang. looks like i'm finding a welder this week

thank you for the link. won't work for this particular fix.(hard to explain) maybe i'll post some pictures. but i love the stuff he makes. i think i will be talking to him soon. i love those round bar tool rests. mine are that sharp factory type with a couple small groves in it from the factory. think i might upgrade that part. thanks again.

my welder dropped my part off today and didn't even charge me. then picked up another box of walnut on the way home. happy days happy days. just fired up the workshop heater, i know what i'm doin tonight.
