I have a Jet 1014I (yep it's old but I love it anyway) that the switch went out on. I searched the normal replacement vendors:
Tools Direct, Ereplacement, Amazon, MMtool…..No luck. Discontinued across the board.

I know I can just wire in a switch, I am trying to keep it as close to original as possible. Any suggestions?

You can buy from Jet direct. if you have a Graingers you can get from them just bring old one in. You can get from electrical supply house. Again bring old one. pretty standard bat handle switch.
