This one is only 1000mW there is also a 1500mW
This one is fine for wood only, there are a number of people who use this with great success.
I have the 1500 and love it, Still does a better job on wood than plastics, but there are ways to do it.
If you want to deep engrave plastics it will take an even bigger laser.

Check out the rotary jig we sell at T. Shadow & Co. LLC

Here's a 63 page thread on these units (sold under many diverse brand names) that I started quite some time ago. You might find something of interest in it.

Thank You Michael!
That's is a very informative thread and answered a lot of my questions
I did do a search on laser engravers but didn't dig deep enough.
Thanks again,
-Anthony

You're welcome Anthony. As long as you know the limitations, I think these little units are well worth the price. Mine has easily paid for itself at least a couple times over.

I paid $62 from mine and it even came from California, not from China.

Some of these overseas sellers have a US warehouse and sometimes they send over too many and they need to move them out so I paid about $8 less than what they sell it for in China and got it in a week, a week to a week and half sooner than from China.
