Default Pen 1

Pen #1
Kit: Hybrid Cigar with Gold and Black Tn plating with a Parker refill.
I call the blank a Simple Sapele Sandwich. The burl started of as a single piece of about 1.5" by 3/8" by 6". I believe it is Flame Box Elder Burl. It was a piece of scrap I was able to pick up about a year ago from a local luthier. I sanded it smooth, cut it length wise and sandwiched a piece of scrap Sapele in between. CA finish.

Pen #3
Kit -- Wall Street ll
Black Lucite with white Lucite segment
I used black Lucite and gave it a singular focal point with a cast and framed ID window. This unique feature personalizes the pen and makes it a source of pride for the owner.
