Welcome to the 2015 Birthday BASH Puzzle Contest

In addition to the Universal Bash Guidelines, the contest rules are as follows:

This contest will offer 8 puzzles over a 1-2 week timeframe for your puzzle-solving entertainment. It takes some time to generate and upload the puzzles, create the entry forms and to review and process your entries, so please be patient with the puzzle gurus.

When a new puzzle is posted, you will have at least 24 hours to solve the puzzle and submit your solution using the entry form or submittal process for that specific puzzle. Be sure to follow the submission instructions exactly or your entry will be disqualified. Note that the submission process may vary depending on the type of puzzle.

There is no hurry to solve any puzzle except to finish it before the time limit on that puzzle expires (minimum of 24 hours). All correct entries will earn 1 point. At the conclusion of the contest, the member with the most points wins. If there is a tie for the most points, the winner will be selected by random draw.

You may make only one entry per puzzle and once the time limit for a puzzle has expired, no further entries can be made for that puzzle.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded based on the number of points earned during the contest:
First Place:
Berea Hardwoods Gift Certificate - $100

Second Place:
Classic Nib Gift Certificate - $25
Sylvanite Gift Certificate - $25
Alumilite Gift Certificate - $25

Third Place:
Classic Nib Gift Certificate - $25
Robert Sherlock Box of Blanks - $25

In addition to the overall contest prizes, 3 prizes will be awarded for each individual puzzle. Winners of these individual puzzle prizes will be determined by a drawing from all correct entries for that puzzle. You may win only one individual puzzle prize during the contest.

Who's supposed to be having the fun here, huh? :befuddled:

I hear that deep, guttural, long, extended laugh, echoing and growing in an evil crescendo causing the weak to run, the uncertain to fear, and the strong to cower.(MWOOhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ....

Be afraid. Be very very afraid. Hide the women (except Michelle!) and children. Hunker down. stay low.

Edgar's comin' for you.:thunder:

Tough day at work

I have returned to the regular work force and today was tough. Have not been here much lately and found this as a stroke of good fortune. Really enjoyed!! But where is the completion code??

If you going to get 8 puzzles in during the bash, it's going to be a tight squeeze on the last three.

Looking for Puzzle #6.

We'll do our best -- it takes some time to set up and test each puzzle on the bash server and Curtis has a lot on his plate.

We have some options for handling things if time runs short - hang in there. :)

You could always take the Bash into overtime.
