Okay folks "All aboard, The train is leaving station"! So the trivia has been revamped a little this year. You can see the details here.

Here is the question for today.

There is a article on the IAP website titled "Pens made from Arrow
Shafts" from 2006. In that article who does the author thank for teaching him to do his first one?

You must EMAIL your answer to trivia@penturners.org. Your email must include the date in the subject line. Your email must also include your real first and last name, your IAP Screen name, email address, shipping address and your guess for the answer to that day's trivia question.

Remember you only have until noon tomorrow to get your answers in. Good luck.

Just in years past good natured conversation is not only encourage, but expected below! PLEASE DO NOT POST THE ACTUAL ANSWER in the comments section. Tongue and Cheek answers below are okay though!

Prizes for todays Trivia are: The Classic Nib $25 Gift Certificate #3; Robutacion Gift Certificate #2 $50.00; Box of blanks from EDohmann #4 $25.00

Here is a secondary Trivia Question for today only. It is being posted merely to point out a few mistakes that have already been made. There is no need to actually submit an answer to this question, but it is a good idea to know the answer to the question before you submit your answer to the actual question.:biggrin:

In the rules for the 2015 Birthday Bash Trivia Contest, which can be found HERE, what is the proper procedure to be used to submit an answer to the Daily Trivia Question?

Note that posting the Tongue in Cheek answers in the thread is expected and appreciated!

His rules have the same glaring error of all the other rules, in that they in no way list my paypal account information and the "suggested donation" amount to ensure delivery of your entry...

1. Search for 16 hours to find the answer
2. Write the answer on a small piece of blue parchment paper
3. Attach the answer to a well trained homing pigeon
4. Send the well trained homing pigeon to D. Oliver in some small town in South Dakota
5. Hope like heck said pigeon does not get mistaken for a pheasant along the way.

Simple enough.

You know I tried really hard to find a question whose answer was "McDiddy" but I just couldn't come up with one that wasn't going to be moderated.

Have you seen what is going on over at the [strike]Derek Bashing[/strike] Trash Talking Bashapalooza? And after that, check out where Derek reveals himself to be an actual artist as he commits to enter the best bash contest at this LINK.

Your all wrong. It has to be his Parents because without them he wouldn't be turning pens let alone know what turning means. He wouldn't be here.

I thought "The Academy" had to be the first person thanked for anything...after that, it's OK to list spouses, cast, crew, random other celebs, and maybe even parents if the music hasn't already started playing because your acceptance speech has droned out far too long...
