When to CA?

I live in Round Rock, TX, outside Austin. My shop is in the garage (no heat/no air). My shop will go from the mid 40's to 101 degrees. When can't I apply CA? Can I do it if it's raining? high humidity? very cold/hot? I've done them all and have had to problems, except my own stupidity. Have I just been lucky? Any advice would be appreciated.

In Pearland, even though my shop has window AC and heat, I have trouble doing a CA finish when the temp is below about 55* or the humidity is high and it feels muggy in the shop.
