Hi All,

I know that these aren't pens, but I am hoping you can help. I turned two pizza cutters. Unfortunately I because I was in a rush, I did not notice that there were chatter issues until I was done.

What would be the best way to get rid of the solution in the photos? I really don't want to put them back on the lathe since the handles are finished. If I have to put it back on the lathe, is there a way to put them in the chuck without damaging them?

Thanks in advanced.

P.S. I have the Oneway Talon chuck that has grippers on the inside.

To remount use a dowel with an OD the same as the ID on the handle. Put it in the chuck and slip the handle over it... A simple "Jam Chuck". If it's a bit loose use a bit of paper towel or wrap the dowel with masking tape for a snug fit..

When you say it is finished, I assume it is only MM and polished. I would take some sand paper and sand it by hand. Then hit the polishing wheel.
