Dying blanks with PP

I an wondering about dying wood blanks using a pressure pot.

Will a pressure pot push dye all the way through a 3/4 x 3/4 blank?

I am going to set up a pressure pot to do both pressure and vacuum

Just about any species, I would guess softer wood would be easier
