I am getting ready to venture out and try the BLO/CA finish. I have exclusively been using Mylands friction polish but am ready to try something different.

I have read all the articles on this site and all the threads on how to approach this. Here is where my ignorance comes in; where can I purchase Boiled Linseed Oil? I have looked through the catalogs of all the major suppliers and can not find it.

You can find smaller bottles at art supply stores. Michael's or Hobby Lobby in the art department. They'll have something like 2 oz. or 4 oz. bottles. You pay more per gallon that way but for pen turning 4 oz. should last you, your children and your grandchildren. If you have other uses for it then a quart or gallon from HD or Lowes might be the better option.
