Tell us about your entry: She started off her life as a Slimline kit and a few scraps. I retained the nib, center band, transmission and refill. The "dress" is acrylic. The "skin" is holly. The "hair" is walnut. The "dress" and "skin" were finished in CA. The "hair" was finished in Antique Oil to give it a matte finish. This may be either sexist or obvious, depending on your disposition, but she is a joy to hold!

Tell us about your entry: I merged a Slimline Pro click kit with a Cigar kit to make this "Cap-Click Cigar" Pen. The pen operates by pushing down on the cap.

Tell us about your entry: This is a modified Chrome Sierra/Wall St 2 kit. All the black enamel parts were removed, the body and nib tubes glued in and the centerband was then turned down to the body tube size. A Step hole was drilled in the body wood to accept the nib, what was left of the centerband, and the body tube. The finial was also knocked apart and the beads and clip were turned off. It was then glued into the remainder of the blank for turning the finial, and the insert area was turned down to allow it to spin inside the body tube, thus converting it to a finial twist. The pen uses the Nib, both body tubes, the centerband (it's in there if you want an X-Ray of it...), Transmission, and internal finial fittings. The wood is Stabilized Black Ash Burl.

Tell us about your entry: This is a modified hybrid cigar twist ballpoint with a top cap constructed from other components The base for the pen is the two tone hybrid cigar pen. I wanted to keep the two tone hybrid style throughout the pen and so each part has both types of metal. The finial is from an Atrax and the clip from a black titanium Jr. Gent 2. The bottom of the top cap is from the Atrax ballpoint kit and matches nicely with the black titanium transmission adapter from the cigar pen.
