FREESTYLE PEN CONTEST

Forget thinking outside the box. Stomp the box flat, wipe your feet on it, throw it out the window and forget there ever was a box.

The Rules,
To enter use the following link to the entry form, Freestyle Contest Entry Form
Do not post a picture of the pen in this thread.
The pen must have not been shown on any forum.
It has to write.
To enter one must have their real name and location listed in their user profile and have completed all IAP activities they have signed up for.

The Guidelines
Think the Paris fashion week of pens. The wilder and crazier the better.
This isn't a contest for nice well made pens. This is for the cannons, space ships, battle axes, jet fighters, and sailing ships, robots and whatever else you can come up with. Be fearless.

The Deadline
Entrants must have their pens entered by end of day on Sunday the 23rd. There will be an entry form posted in this thread.

There will be 4 prizes for this contest.

1st prize, Box of blanks from vanngo5d. $200 value
2nd prize, Sterling silver euro pen kit from Silver Pen Parts. $120 value
3rd prize, An Easy Pen Turner tool from CSUSA. $90 value
4th prize, A gift certificate from Richard Greenwald. $50 value

Without specifics I would say kinda. However the freestyle contest is more for the over the top about 1/2 step over the crazy line. A nice well made pen might not go as far in this category. PM me some details and I'll see if I can point you to the right contest.

I can't wait to see the entries. The Freestyle Contest has always been the cream of the crop.

The only thing I don't like is;

Quote; ''This isn't a contest for nice well made pens''
I hope this doesn't lower the previous very high standards already set.

Good luck to all the entrants:biggrin:

I can tell you standards have not been lowered. To me the purpose of these competitions is to push the edges of normal and try new things. The entrants have definitely set the bar high.
