The winner is Bean_Counter with his answer "Gaboon Ebony", I would be happy with Ebony, and I should have said that is common in 3 colours, black, brown or white, this one was a very dark brown so, congratulation Michael...!:wink:
Well, I said that I had made 2 of these and that I was thinking in award the second person with the correct answer and that was in fact, RDH79, congratulations Rich, you get the second blank and the other 3 surprise gift blanks...!
Well, thank you so much, for being all such a good sport and participating so enthusiastically in these "games" of mine, I would try to do it more often if I was a little more fortunate in the moneys department, I should keep with 1 prize to game, that would be slightly better for me but, I can't help myself with giving things away, it makes my day...!

Mate, you are too late, the winner has been found.
So that you know, that is what the blank body is made of but the question was, what wood was used to make the segmentation (star)...! the answer was, Ebony...!
