Default Pirates and Fantasy Blanks

Thursday New Items!
Jason Burr cast blanks using the artwork of famed artist Don Maitz and his wife Janny Wurts! Don Maitz is the painter behind the world famous Captain Morgan Rum Logo!!
Jason worked for over a year to get these amazingly talented artist to not only authorize the use of their paintings, but to also get them to agree to individually hand sign each blank. The signatures are NOT reproduced!!

Cool looking blanks for those mates that are into pirates!

I do have a question though. Are these blanks actually hand painted one by one or are they a printed paper wrap that is hand signed before casting?
Just wanting a little clarification.

Thanks!

Charlie,
These blanks are actually printed on a vinyl base "paper". Don Maitz and Janny Wurts (the artists) personally inspect each blank for printing errors before individually hand signing each blank. The vinyl base vs. paper allows for greater clarity and consistency of print. It took our blanks artist Jason Burr 2 months to figure out a way for them to not only sign on the vinyl, but also find an ink for the signatures that would hold up to the casting process. It took us over a year from concept to completion to get not only the artists permission to use their work, but to also get them to approve the process to their satisfaction. Sadly due to copyright laws we can not use the famous Captain Morgan painting by Don Maitz, however the work he has approved has the same "vibe". Stay tuned for more designs coming from this wonderful artist collaboration.
