Yes, I WAS a little taken aback when the gentleman made that statement on the phone today!!

Took a couple seconds until it registered--he was looking at my videos on YouTube and could not find one on a two piece pen. He would like to make his first "capped pen", which he also wants to be a fountain pen.

So, I promised him I would get the video done by the weekend.

Here is part one---which takes us to the facing---tomorrow I will edit and render the rest of the video---final turning, sanding, polishing with Novus on the lathe and pen assembly.

Comments are welcome!!

Good video, when you go over the assembly, please discuss the details of using the arbor press and any particular jigs you use to position the pen parts for assembly. Thanks

Great Video.....Can hardly wait for part 2.

Like Jim asked......I will also ask for details.
Thinking more for the person that is making their 10th pen. All the details make the work that much easier and fun to do.

Thanks Ed for everything you do.
