I just thought I'd send a note to let you know about a somewhat minor issue I've had with recently received Virage ballpoint components. The clip will not slide over the finial transmission adapter. I first tried with the clip finished in gunmetal, and thought it just might be too heavy of a plating, but, the same was true of the chrome kit I assembled today. I was able to grind down the inside diameter of the clips with a Dremel tool, and then they worked fine. Not a huge issue, but, I thought you might want to touch base with Berea and see if anyone else has reported the problem.

that happen in mass production, however you were able to fix it, good job how to solve.

The fit has been marginal for a long time. It's a little worse on some platings than others

I made a wood tube with ID just slightly over the OD of the finial adapter stub.

I use a pen press and this wood tube to press the clip on.

Thanks for the replies. Even if it is a bit more effort, IMHO the kit is worth the effort.
