Local Chapter Manager
All too often we have people tell us they sent an email. ALL our emails are directed to one account and Dawn and I both have access, so we can try to keep up to it as it arrives.
Today we got a notice that we MUST clean the email---well there are about 1000 there and the notice said 7000ish. We have been aware of one spam location, which we check regularly and either upgrade or dump. We did not know there was a second spam location, where, in the last 30 days, we have received 5800 emails----MOST are Viagra and other junk, but SOME are customer requests for information.
So, this weekend we will be replying to everything in the past two weeks. We assume that earlier than that, the issue is no longer important, but we will acknowledge the writer. Of course, from here forward we will check the "new spam filter" regularly.
We really hope this will eliminate the "lost emails".
Only time will tell for certain.
