Motorcycle pen--turn between centers??

Berea introduced a cool new pen kit--the motorcycle kit!! However, the bushings are on a boat, so I could choose to wait a couple weeks for their arrival or take the pens now and the bushings later.

Being a pen-turner, we all know "instant gratification" is our middle name, so I took the pens. They arrived, so I set out to turn a couple for pictures--the only way that seemed reasonable was "between centers".

As long as I had to turn that way, I set up the camera and created this video: "Turn between centers"

So, if you bought the kits and want to turn them right away, I hope you find this helpful!!

If you want to wait, I am assured we will have the bushings by month end.

Built mine, thank you Dawn! Its pretty neat, i dont remember the drill bit i used, and i did spin it between centers. I liked this old acylic acetate because it has a crushed pavement look to it.
there is 2 motorcycles on the top section, i thought only one...it matters because you want the clip assembled in between them. Looking forward to having this pen in my car with my skull collection.
