Yep, never fails, every year the wife buying flowers bushes trees roses, you name it! You plant it, then it dies. Roses in particular, they are expensive plants and require high maintenance, especially in the harsh environment of the north. Last year the two roses out front died after the winter, she dug them up and tossed them on the lawn then out to the burn pile they went. Well, you know i saw them there, I was like, omg, another $60 fire, I want a refund. Obviously the store won't take them back, so its time to get creative! The root balls have incredible character but they are very odd shapes and take a lot of care to cut without injury to yourself. You don't get much yield out of 2 bushes, but, I can clearly see that with a little effort, material costs, commission etc, I will break even, heck maybe even profit enough to buy a cheeseburger!!
