Caballero question

Hello Ed and Dawn,
I had a few minutes tonight to try a Caballero kit.
I drilled cap and body with 29/64 and 25/64 bits respectively.

The body tube went right in but the cap tube would not.
I checked with my calipers and the cap tube measured 29/64 OD.

So I am wondering if I should use a different bit for the cap (12mm) maybe?

I have the same issue, but find 15/32" to be a little sloppier than i'd like but use it with epoxy instead of CA. Love that hardware--and one day i'll find a 59/128" or 11.75 mm drill for "reasonable" money--I think that would be perfect.
