Hi folks. It’s that time again.
We’ll be meeting at Jim Hoechstetter’s shop once again. Carl Fisher has agreed to do a demo on making modified kit pens. He’ll take a standard kit and then use different techniques to make a unique pen that may resemble the kit in name only. I will also discuss a few techniques for reverse painting of acrylic blanks to make sure the brass tube does not show through on the finished pen. Bring your latest creations for Show-and-Tell. We will also be doing a PITH (Pen-in-the-hat) and a blank swap again, so bring a pen and a few blanks to trade with other members. If you have items you would like to sell or swap, please bring them along as well. If you know of anyone who would be interested in joining our little group or just attending a meeting, please pass this info along and/or bring them with you. Remember, experience is not required.
