Anyone want to comment on the ones they found hardest? Since I came up with this one and thought it would be pretty easy but got lots of comments that it was real hard, I would love to know the particularly hard ones!

Morse taper was the last one for me. And the cowboy to spur took longer than it should have.

Oh... It wasn't a problem to figure out but "so yesterday" is much more opinion than fact. ;)

It was weird seeing the ones people were stuck on because the easy/hard or me didn't line up at all.

The funny thing is, a good many of the words used came directly from a single Wikipedia article. The morse taper was word for word from wikipedia! Here are the ones from Wiki...in red

The most difficult one for me was CORD... was almost at a point of trying every four letter word with r in the third position...Also EGYPT stumped me, did try every 5 letter word starting with E and ending with T before it clicked.

The wikipedia site for lathes help me find the items you highlighted and the rest were found searching for lathe terminology.

I found Egypt looking in a thesaurus for "birthplace"

tucked there, in the very last entry, was Egypt. So I said..."WTF...Egypt?!"

and sho'nuff, it worked.

I found the wiki article after that - and then it made sense.
