We have a winner.
It is a Camphor laurel or Cinnamomum camphora.
An introduced species to most Countries of the World and very common in 10 US states and a declared weed in Florida.

Just a quick one to say the Thermometer made it in one piece to the UK, very suprised!! Just trying to the get the mercury level as it had quite a shake up in the plane!!

It's a lot bigger than I was expecting, but looks and feels great. Many thanks to Roy for supplying and sponsorship and also to Bonb for running the competition..
