Recently I was using some thin CA to repair a blow-out on a European pen and accidently got some on the center bushing and glued the center band bushing to the center bushing(WoodCraft bushing). I tried mechanical means to remove the bushing with no success. Finally tried acetone in a pharmacy pill bottle and was able to remove the bushing after soaking for a few hours. I have since been better at putting wax on the bushings when using CA. Kirk [8D]
] I had to beat it out of there with a metal rod. Luckily I didn't damage the rest of the pen. I too will be using wax from now on. These kinds of lessons aren't easily forgotten. [
