It seems like everyday that I have to replace (regular and rechargeable) batteries in something around here.
If it's not the grand kids toys, cameras, one of my two digital calipers etc.
Today it was the batteries in the Weather Station.
I grab the keys and get ready to go to the store and buy some AAA batteries when the Remote for the car doesn't work …. grab the other one and head out.
I get to the store and grab a pack of AAA and then wander over to the watch counter and ask about a battery for the Car Remote.
While she's opening the case I look at the LR44's (SR44's last twice as long) that one of my digital calipers eats like candy and notice it's a 3 pack for around $5.00
What the car alarm needs is a A23 which is on sale for a $1 for a 2 pack.
I get home and grab the other remote and replace the battery and then I look at that little A23 and begin to wonder ...
Take my pocket knife to cut it open and realize that it is metal not paper around the case. Grab a flat bladed screw driver and assault the case.
Look what is inside this little battery …
Eight little batteries that will fit in my battery hungry digital calipers.
If you find these on sale and save yourself some $$$
