Wine bottle stopper display

My mother in-law wanted a couple bottle stoppers for her boss, and she wanted a display stand to go with them. I've literally been putting the display off for a month or so, because I had NO idea what I wanted to do for it. Well, yesterday, I took a piece of cedar, put it on the lathe, and let the creative juices flow. About 30 minutes later, this is what came out. Let me know what you think. It holds 4 stoppers.

Pretty cool! Nice hunk of cedar too. My only concern is that some of the cedar oils might get on the stoppers, and flavor the wine. But I'm sure someone will come along and tell me I'm wrong (or at least I hope someone will!).

Make sure her boss isn't allergic to cedar! [] I like it! If the flat top piece had more of a cone shape to the top, you could do a sort of pyramid of bottle stoppers sort of thing, but it wouldn't look good without 5-6 bottle stoppers..
