I have done a search here for information on the Wilton vs mini lathe, but it seems like most posts are not by people who own one. I just want a lathe that I can take indoors for the winter, as my shop is too cold and I would rather be in my warm home. I want to set up a large fan, with double filters in front of the lathe, to catch most of the dust. Don't worry, I'll still cut some blanks for my friends here.

Any suggestions? It is still about ninety bucks with free shipping at amazon. I think I'll only have to buy an m1 mandrel and I should be good to go.

Thanks,
Rob

Rob,

Actually that is the lathe that I own. I have not had a single problem with it at all. I actually got mine from Menards was cheaper there than amazon.

Rob, that is one reason I have been considering getting a Wilton to use inside the house. The other is for portability, to take to fairs and demos.

Thanks for your report, Don.

Wilton is a sister company of Jet Tools.
