Not to hijack Jt's thread any further, just for fun I thought I'd ask you guys who you follow on YouTube. I reckon there will be loads of common choices here..

My top ones are

This Old Tony......sheer editing brilliance and more skilled than he portraits
AvE....very experienced field engineer with a hydraulic background...serious profanity:wink:
Clickspring........amazing perfectionist....but oh so slow
Joe Pieczynski.... pretty cool machinist. Good teacher
Engineer BrunS......actually a good Russian home machinist....funny as hell
Stefan Gotteswinter......German perfectionist machinist...good but slow

What about you guys?

PostmodernJukebox ( a recom. from EBorraga a few yrs ago - I've never turned back)
Julie Westlin, and several of the clones - nice to see younglings doing great artistry.
Christopher Bill - too young to be so talented. (He plays my preferred instrument).

I also browse many woodturning/woodworking/machinist/metal lathe sites, but my past life with music dominates. My UTube views is to go "elsewhere" vs "where I am."

Someday I hope to get back to my music.

Sorry Skip no one here. If i get link to see something I may check it out. You can do what you want with that thread. I just posted because I saw the tool on FB which is another platform that I do not follow. Just click on once in awhile. I prefer forums.

Randy, mrpete222.....aka..tubalcain....aka...Lyle Peterson, yep I used to watch him religiously. I learned a lot from him. But to be honest I have gone off him a bit.
I actually came across him by accident. I was searching for Tubal Cain....not the original biblical one, but the British one that has produced several of The Workshop Practice Series books...

Thanks for the post. There are a lot of vids to watch.

I watch tubalcain and houser (I think) for metal lathes. Houser shows some good mini lathe updates. VSauce, Adam savage, and fermi lab for sciency stuff.

I've tried to find good audio speaker tutorial vids but I can't seem to find authoritative sources. No one talks about calculations and tuning tricks. Oh well, I enjoy learning the old fashion way.
