I like to mark my pen blanks when I get them, but black magic marker doesn't show up well on some of the darker woods.

I have seen pictures of blanks marked in white. Where do you get white markers?

I use Pentel Presto Fine Point Correction Pens, available at most office supply stores. Unless he has changed brands, this is the brand Bill Baumbeck (www.arizinasilhouette.com) recommended to me several years ago. The advantage is that you can mark the blanks, send them out for stabilizing, or even dyeing and stabilizing, and the writing still shows up when they are returned.

If your looking for white ink, you could buy the Rapido Graph art pen kit that takes Koh-I-Noor Inks. Ive used them in the past but if you let them sit with no use, they are a pain to clean. They have every color you could think of in ink.
