I grew up near the Twin Cities, but have spent the last 11 years in Houston, TX. Both my family and my wife's family are still in Minnesota, so we usually spend our vacation time visiting family. This year my folks rented a cabin in Biwabik, MN and we spent the week enjoying nature. I got to see about 10 different bald eagles, it amazes me how many there are in MN now compared to when I was a kid. Played some golf with my parents and fished for bass with my brother, swimming in the lake, and smores by the bonfire. No penturning, but that was just fine, had a lot of fun and got a nice recharge.

Sounds like a good vacation. We spent ours in Little Rock, AR with the heat and humidity! Our oldest grandson plays minor league ball with the Arkansas Travelers. Next year we are going wherever he is assigned in the early spring!!!! Hopefully, Tacoma or Seattle!!!!!!
